How to get there

There are many options to travel to Lahti, Finland. From abroad, the most obvious choice is a flight to Helsinki-Vantaa international airport. From there you can travel to Lahti by train. There is a 8-minute commuter train ride to Tikkurila (take the P train), where you can take either a commuter train (marked as Z trains) to Lahti, or even take a better-equipped InterCity train to the destination city. Anyway, the train trip lasts only about 50 minutes and the railway station of Lahti is near hotels and the venue.

People coming with e.g. ferries cruising between Sweden and Finland: If you decide to drive with your own car to the event, don’t worry, Lahti is in the middle of Southern Finland and has good connections everywhere.

If travelling from other parts of Finland, good bus and train connections ensure that it it convenient to travel to the destination.

Where to stay a couple of overnights

There are plenty of good hotels in Lahti. Some of the traditional ones being Scandic Lahti City, Kauppahotelli Grand, Solo Sokos Hotel Seurahuone. But there are also nice accommodations in Forenom Apartments, some cozy private apartments etc.
